Our Story
Most enterprise AI projects don't die because the technology doesn't work. They die between the demo and production. The model impresses in a boardroom, a pilot gets funded, and then six months later the project is quietly shelved because nobody figured out how to make it operate reliably inside a real business.
The big consultancies have an answer for this: an 8-12 month engagement, a large team, and a bill that runs into millions. What you usually get at the end is a detailed report and an expensive proof-of-concept that nobody owns. The people who built it are already on the next project.
Aikaara exists to close that gap. We're a small engineering firm — not a consultancy. We come in, build the thing, and ship it to production. Typical engagements run 4-6 weeks. The code is yours. We're opinionated about how AI systems should be built in regulated industries because we've spent years in those environments and we know what breaks in the real world.

Venkatesh has been building software companies for a long time. His background is in fintech — specifically the unsexy, high-stakes kind: payment infrastructure, lending systems, compliance pipelines in banking and insurance. The kind of work where a bug doesn't just frustrate a user, it triggers a regulatory audit.
He founded Aikaara in 2024 as a technology services firm, then pivoted in 2025 when it became clear that the most urgent problem in enterprise technology wasn't more SaaS tooling — it was the graveyard of AI projects that never made it past the demo stage. The move to AI-native engineering was a natural fit: the same disciplines that matter in regulated fintech (auditability, reliability, clear ownership) turn out to be exactly what makes AI systems trustworthy in production.
He runs Aikaara from Mumbai and works directly on every engagement.
